Produce Department Training Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Produce Department Team Trainer to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our produce department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to our team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales.
Key Responsibilities- Training and Development: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for produce team members, focusing on customer service, product knowledge, and operational procedures.
- Team Support: Provide ongoing support and coaching to produce team members, addressing any questions or concerns they may have and ensuring they have the resources they need to succeed.
- Communication: Collaborate with produce team leaders, store trainers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of training efforts.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of training programs and provide feedback to improve their effectiveness.
- Experience: 6 months of experience in a retail or food service environment, with a focus on training and development.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people. Strong knowledge of produce products and operations, with the ability to train others on these topics.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Environmental Factors: Exposure to temperatures, chemicals, and other environmental factors associated with a retail or food service environment.
