Job Summary

The Assisted Living LPN Supervisor is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for overseeing the medical staff and ensuring the highest quality care for our residents. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to achieve our mission and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Direct and coordinate the activities of the medical staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  • Care Planning and Coordination: Participate in care plan meetings, develop and implement resident care plans, and evaluate resident response to nursing interventions.
  • Resident Care and Support: Provide direct resident care as needed, administer medications, and complete treatments and procedures as ordered by physicians.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Complete quality care audits, ensure equipment and work areas are clean and safe, and maintain strict adherence to procedures regarding hazardous chemicals and fire safety.
  • Training and Development: Oversee and administer training for current medical technicians and train new medical technicians.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Address questions, concerns, or complaints from residents, family members, and staff in a timely and caring manner, and work collaboratively with other departments to support the mission and values of Bethea Retirement Community.
