Job Description

Westinghouse Electric Company, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Project Procurement Manager Principal to join our team. As a key member of our Global Procurement Projects Supply Chain Solution Team, you will be responsible for overseeing procurement activities for large capital projects, including supplier qualification and coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies and plans for complex projects
  • Identify and capture demand, identify potential suppliers, and establish communication channels
  • Establish pricing, delivery, terms, and conditions to satisfy financial, quality, and delivery requirements
  • Prepare and coordinate the RFx process, establish sourcing strategies for suppliers and services, and negotiate pricing and delivery terms
  • Analyze and evaluate all elements of cost for commodity groups to identify and obtain cost improvements
  • Develop and maintain extensive relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders
  • Utilize the corporate Approved Supplier List Process for sourcing requirements
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Westinghouse's Procurement policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • BA/BS/ME degree in business or engineering with a minimum of +3 years of project management experience
  • +3 years' experience within procurement in large and complex projects
  • Significant experience with vendor purchase order issuance, execution, and administration
  • Demonstrated leadership skills across cultures, languages, and locations
  • Strong analytical experience and good problem-solving ability
  • Ability to develop and maintain long-term productive relationships with suppliers
  • Experience in International Sourcing and knowledge of supplier base for the Nuclear sector is a plus
