Key Responsibilities:
Review and certify permit submission packages, managing daily correspondence.

Collaborate with engineering and drafting teams to prepare and assess permit submissions.

Work with the permitting team to secure necessary permits, including certification letters for project closeouts.

Partner with Certified Field Inspectors (CFIs) to outline scopes of work.

Conduct forensic evaluations of structures for complex residential and commercial projects.

Prepare detailed reports and repair designs as required.

Coordinate with construction teams to resolve unexpected site conditions and create as-built documentation.

Perform site visits to address client concerns or issues.

Engage actively in industry outreach and continuing education initiatives.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Geotechnical Engineering (Master's degree preferred).

5-10 years of relevant experience in commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects.

Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory; Structural Engineer (SE) license is a plus.

Preferred proficiency in the design and detailing of wood, concrete, and steel structures.

Familiarity with building codes and load calculations is essential.

Experience in designing deep foundation systems is advantageous.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.

Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated integrity, character, and accountability.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and other relevant software is necessary.

This is a full-time role with a willingness to travel up to 25% required.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (required).

License/Certification:
Professional Engineer License (required).
