Overview

Talan, a leading consulting company, is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to lead our sales efforts. With a strong background in IT consulting and business development, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at top-tier clients, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including consulting, delivery, and marketing, to develop tailored solutions that meet client needs.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports, ensuring timely and transparent communication with stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to inform sales strategies and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Analyze sales performance data to optimize sales processes, improve conversion rates, and enhance overall sales efficiency.
  • Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement sales enablement initiatives, training programs, and coaching sessions to drive sales excellence.
  • Drive thought leadership through speaking engagements, articles, and social media presence, positioning Talan as a trusted advisor in the IT consulting space.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field within the IT consulting sector.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership, with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales performance data and identify areas for improvement.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, marketing, or computer science.
