  • Safeguard the proper storage conditions for all medications and compounding materials.
  • Adhere to established SOPs and assist in the development of new procedures as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare providers to ensure accurate compounding of IV therapies.
  • Participate in professional development activities and maintain a professional demeanor with patients and colleagues.
  • Oversee the training and task delegation among staff based on individual capabilities.
  • Evaluate and document nursing care plans for clients.
  • Administer IV and IM vitamin therapies using appropriate techniques.
  • Monitor patients during infusion processes, ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Review treatment plans and coordinate follow-up appointments as needed.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including appointment scheduling and health history reviews.
  • Conduct venipuncture and manage access to implanted ports or PICC lines.
  • Order and maintain necessary IV supplies.
  • Document patient interactions and triage phone calls as required.
  • Fulfill daily, weekly, and monthly lab requirements.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Active RN license in the state of Alaska, with a degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in infusion therapy, having performed at least 15,000 IV insertions.
  • Prior experience in administering IV infusion therapy.
  • Current BLS CPR certification.
