Radiation Oncology Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Radiation Oncology Specialist to join our team at JobRialto. As a Radiation Oncology Specialist, you will be responsible for administering radiation therapy treatments, monitoring patients' health, and taking X-ray images to determine tumor locations.
Responsibilities:
* Administer radiation therapy treatments, including positioning patients and adjusting machinery to ensure proper treatment is received
* Monitor patients' health during treatment to ensure they are responding well to treatment and to identify any adverse reactions to treatment
* Take and record X-ray images of patients' bodies to determine the location of tumors for radiation treatment planning
* Collect data about each patient's condition and treatment progress, which may be used to develop new treatments or improve existing ones
* Educate patients about their treatment options and recovery time frames
* Provide emotional support to patients who are receiving treatment for cancer or other life-threatening illnesses
* Supervise technicians who assist with administering treatments
* Report any safety concerns to the appropriate staff member
Requirements:
* A diploma or an associate degree in nursing
* Basic Life Support certification
