Position Overview

Under the supervision of the Captain, Office of Correctional Safety (OCS), the Tactical Response Coordinator serves as a Correctional Lieutenant responsible for overseeing and enhancing the Alarm Response (Riot Control) program within the department. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and engage in assignments that pertain to security operations, field support, and emergency response initiatives.
  • Conduct complex staff assignments linked to departmental special operations.
  • Travel may be required for operational duties.

Additional Information

This position is integral to the operational framework of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR). The department has adopted an automated hiring system to facilitate a streamlined application process.
