Client Accounts Supervisor

Compensation Range: $13.50 to $14.25

The Client Accounts Supervisor at Aaron's plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our retail locations by overseeing the customer accounts division, with a primary focus on meeting corporate benchmarks for collections and lease renewals. In this capacity, you will strategically guide team performance to assist our clients in achieving their ownership aspirations while undertaking a variety of responsibilities as directed by the General Manager.

Responsibilities

+ Maintain and update customer accounts, ensuring accurate information is recorded in the store's computer system and documenting all payment appointments.

+ Support the General Manager with operational tasks, including account evaluations, payment schedules, and monitoring payment history for accuracy.

+ Act as a secondary support to the General Manager.

+ Cultivate genuine customer relationships to assist clients in their ownership journeys and drive sales.

+ Oversee the collections process by advising customers to ensure timely lease and merchandise renewals.

+ Review and finalize lease agreements, confirming customer identification, collecting payments, and obtaining necessary signatures.

+ Reach out to customers who have not renewed their merchandise agreements.

+ Maintain contact with customers through phone calls and home visits.

+ Ensure customer information is updated and accurate.

+ Lead the accounts team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly departmental objectives.

+ Clean and certify returned merchandise in the designated cleaning area.

+ Complete and manage weekly vehicle maintenance logs and daily route sheets.

+ Safely load, secure, and transport products in the company vehicle.

+ Operate the company vehicle safely.

+ Assist the Sales Team as required.

+ Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

+ Must be at least 21 years old in the United States with a valid state driver's license and compliance with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy, including a satisfactory driving record. Candidates in Canada must be at least 18 years old.

+ Must meet DOT requirements for certification in required states (United States).

+ Ability to work a flexible schedule from 8 am to 9 pm.

+ Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 300 lbs. with assistance.

+ Preferred qualifications include two years of college education or two years of prior management experience.

+ A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

+ High energy and the ability to effectively multitask across all store functions.

+ Proper telephone etiquette is required.

+ Commitment to upholding the Aaron's Brand and safeguarding company assets.

+ Professional appearance is expected.

+ Proficient computer skills are necessary.
