Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator to join our team at the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our wastewater treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the maintenance and operation of wastewater treatment plants, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve water quality and reduce environmental impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities.
  • Monitor and analyze water quality data to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of the Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Trainee program and certification as a wastewater treatment plant operator.
  • Possession of a valid certification issued by the Pennsylvania State Board for Certification of Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
