Production Coordinator

As a key member of our team, the Line Lead will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our department. This individual will assist the Supervisor in coordinating and managing daily activities to meet production goals.
Key Responsibilities- Review and analyze daily production schedules to ensure demands are met through effective scheduling of work.
- Provide leadership, communication, and work direction for employees by assigning tasks and participating in workload as needed.
- Deliver training to new and existing employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Regularly review the work of line employees to ensure adherence to quality standards and work instructions.
- Ensure employees have access to necessary supplies and equipment to perform their jobs effectively.
- Ensure employees are aware of and provided with proper protective equipment and trained on chemical use and emergency exits.
- Responsible for compliance and adherence to safety policies and procedures.
- Inform Supervisors/Plant Manager of any department or employee issues and provide recommendations.
- Collaborate with OES/Maintenance to resolve equipment issues.
- Enter data into and review information in CMS and Training Manager as needed.
- Participate in various improvement activities to drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Great time management and multi-tasking abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff.
- Strong team work skills and commitment to quality and safety.
- Knowledge of customer requirements as they relate to the job function.
- Ability to identify and address potential non-conformances.
- Computer experience and hands-on experience with all department functions.
