DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations in Phoenix, AZ. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and shipment of materials, as well as maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Operations: Manage and improve warehouse operational processes and procedures to ensure seamless inventory management and shipping.
  • Facilities Management: Responsible for the management and inspections of warehouse facilities and grounds to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Vendor Relations: Contact and negotiate with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
  • Inventory Management: Proficiently use software and computers to manage inventory and automate paperwork, including Excel, Email, and Internet skills.
  • Freight Claims: Initiate freight claims to resolve any issues with shipments.
  • Safety and Compliance: Help lead and maintain our high focus on safety and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Material Handling: Participate in and oversee proper material handling, ordering, and maintaining stock and shipping and receiving responsibilities.
  • Delivery Scheduling: Schedule and oversee delivery drivers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials.
  • Staging and Shipping: Ensure staging is completed efficiently and materials are shipped promptly.
  • Recycling and Waste Management: Contribute effectively to our trash and recycling programs.
  • Performance Management: Improve individual performance through daily coaching and yearly performance reviews.
  • Employee Development: Hire, train, and develop new employees as necessary.
  • Team Leadership: Develop and lead effective monthly meetings to ensure clear communication and alignment with team goals.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or 3-5 years of management experience in a fast-paced warehouse organization.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office products and ability to navigate the computer.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to safely operate a forklift and lift 75 pounds.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a good mechanical aptitude.
  • Customer Service: Ability to effectively communicate with customers and represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Technical Applications: Ability to utilize technical applications and mechanical systems.
  • Leadership: Experience in conducting department meetings with hourly employees.
