Job Summary: Walmart is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead a team of QC associates and managers to execute the QC process at a grocery distribution center. The ideal candidate will have experience in fresh produce quality or food safety in a retail or logistics environment and possess strong leadership and project management skills.

  • Lead a team of QC associates and managers to execute the QC process at a grocery distribution center.
  • Hire, develop, and manage people to achieve business objectives.
  • Understand how product flows from suppliers, through the DC, and out to the stores.
  • Develop and implement strategies to positively influence key performance indicators related to QC and day-to-day process execution.
  • Think strategically about how to develop the business and yourself.

Additional Compensation:

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and stock.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Food Science, or related field and 3 years' experience in food manufacturing or production quality control/assurance, food safety, or related field OR 5 years' experience in food manufacturing or production quality control/assurance, food safety, or related field. 3 years supervisory experience or experience leading cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced Microsoft Office functionality (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook) or other productivity software, Data Analysis, Fruit ripening experience.
