Key Responsibilities:

  • Navigate clients through the mortgage procedure, encompassing pre-qualification, application, underwriting, and closing for both Purchase and Refinance Transactions.
  • Inform clients about available loan programs and products.
  • Analyze clients' financial profiles and creditworthiness to identify appropriate mortgage alternatives.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, real estate professionals, and other referral sources.
  • Oversee the progression of loan applications, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and punctually.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics.
  • Address any inquiries or concerns clients may have throughout the loan process.
  • Collaborate with team members to facilitate smooth and efficient loan processing.
  • Achieve or surpass sales targets and business development objectives.
  • Adhere to all regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Manage your pipeline effectively to ensure that loans progress seamlessly.

Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related discipline preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in mortgage lending or a comparable role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mortgage loan products, underwriting processes, and regulations.
  • Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales objectives.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage a loan pipeline effectively.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in mortgage software and related tools.
  • Must hold a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license in the relevant state(s).
  • A client-focused mindset with a strong commitment to exceptional customer service.
