Member Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Member Team Lead to join our team at Sam's Club. As a Member Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of associates in providing exceptional member service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our members.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of associates in providing member service and resolving member complaints and issues.
- Assist management with supervising associates, training, and developing their skills.
- Communicate and support membership by providing information on membership types, programs, and benefits.
- Process memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts, and encourage membership renewals.
- Provide and ensure member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs.
- Assist members with purchasing decisions, locate merchandise, and provide guidance and support on self-service technology.
- Oversee assigned area of responsibility by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, and maintaining availability of carts/flatbeds.
- Complete accounting records, files, transactions, and other required documentation by following accounting office procedures.
- Develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners.
- Demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
- Lead and participate in teams by using and sharing resources, information, and tools, and determining customer needs and business priorities.
- 6 months retail experience including operating front-end equipment and 6 months customer service experience.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Leading a front-end team, supervising experience to include hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing the workload of others.
