Case Management Specialist

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated full-time Case Management Specialist responsible for overseeing and facilitating the transition of individuals receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) into subsidized internships and eventually into permanent employment opportunities.
Compensation: $23.00 per hour
Program: 48
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (40 hours weekly)
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related discipline, accompanied by a minimum of one year of experience in social services.
- Must possess a clear criminal record and successfully pass a background investigation.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Must obtain or currently hold a CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of employment (cost covered by Service Alternatives).
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and appropriate insurance are required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in case management with diverse populations is highly desirable.
Essential Skills:
- Proven ability to facilitate small group sessions or classes.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong professional boundaries and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and time management abilities.
- Capacity to work independently and effectively.
