Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Product Engineer to join our team at PACCAR Winch. As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining business in support of Dynacraft goals and objectives, coordinating efforts across several business disciplines, and developing and maintaining excellent customer relationships.

This role requires strong leadership and project management skills, as well as the ability to develop and maintain assembly drawings on truck related components, develop bills of material, labor estimates and product cost estimates, conduct product qualification testing and prepare test schedules, and reports.

The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing, be proactive in taking action to lead quality improvements, and have demonstrated success in making lasting improvements. Fact-based decision making is a requirement for success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides technical support to customers engineers for Dynacraft products.
  • Model designs for both customers and Dynacraft proprietary products.
  • Develop and maintain assembly drawings on truck related components.
  • Develop bills of material, labor estimates and product cost estimates.
  • Conduct product qualification testing and prepare test schedules, and reports.
  • Resolve issues related to quality or manufacturing.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to find the best performing products while reducing costs.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in an industry related role is preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience with Creo / Windchill.
  • Excellent Teamwork Philosophy; including written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience creating bills of materials for the introduction of modern designs.
  • Experience coordinating prototyping of parts.
  • Experience specifying testing and evaluation of results.
  • Experience coordinating supplier activities and directing production pilot activities.
  • Product development & program management experience.
  • Outstanding organizational, planning, and tracking skills.
  • Attention to detail with a "big picture" focus.
  • Wiliness to learn and make use of new engineering processes & techniques to solve complex technical problems.
Education

A four-year degree in Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university is required. Six Sigma training and Project Management training are strongly desired.
