Job Summary

As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and collaborating with radiologists to provide accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate advanced ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images and videos for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients, adjust equipment, and secure immobilization devices to ensure optimal image quality.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to determine the best imaging techniques and protocols for each patient.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history, test results, and imaging protocols.
  • Participate in quality control activities to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety.
  • Provide education and training to students, technologists, and new staff members on ultrasound procedures and protocols.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited AMA School of Sonography.
  • 1 year of experience as a Sonographer preferred.
  • Certified by Radiologic Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS).
  • CPR certification.
