Position Summary:The Business Analytics Manager plays a pivotal role within the NBCUniversal Operations & Technology (O&T) Audit and Governance Strategy Team. This individual will be tasked with delivering intricate analyses, actionable insights, and streamlined processes to enhance key Audit and Governance capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills, a strong business mindset, and a fervor for leveraging data to identify and resolve challenges. A natural aptitude for interpreting large datasets into meaningful insights is essential.
This role reports directly to the VP of O&T Audit and Governance Strategy and will collaborate closely with technical teams across NBCUniversal and Global Audit. A passion for thriving in a dynamic environment is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:In this role, you will:
- Lead initiatives that utilize data to identify and address challenges.
- Analyze raw data and interpret results to provide comprehensive and insightful analyses, identifying overarching trends.
- Develop visual representations and actionable metrics for operational teams and executive leadership.
- Identify and document high-quality data sources for analysis, noting any limitations or constraints.
- Enhance data collection processes for audit and governance to ensure clarity and reduce complexity, while addressing end-user challenges.
- Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across various disciplines.
- As necessary, create data repositories in compliance with all policy, Cyber Security, and Audit standards.
- Utilize tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Excel, Snowflake, and statistical programming languages (R, Python, SQL) for analytics and visualization.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analytics is essential.
- Outstanding analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills are necessary.
- Ability to work autonomously, demonstrating proactivity and exceptional organizational skills.
- Exhibit integrity and inspire the highest ethical standards.
- Proven ability to prioritize effectively and independently, ensuring project excellence.
- A strong sense of commitment and urgency, coupled with sound business judgment.

- Advanced proficiency in statistical programming languages (R, Python, SQL) for manipulating large datasets and deriving insights.

Remote Work: This position is designated as fully remote, allowing contributions from a non-NBCUniversal worksite.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 (bonus eligible)
