Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement Quality Assurance Policies: Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company, customer, and government expectations.
  • Participate in Audits: Participate in customer audits and annual SQF audits as needed to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Conduct Pre-Shipment Reviews: Conduct pre-shipment reviews to ensure that products meet quality standards.
  • Direct Inspection and Sampling Activities: Direct inspection and sampling activities to maintain continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.
  • Identify and Resolve Problems: Identify and resolve problems promptly and develop alternative solutions.
  • Collaborate with Plant Manager: Collaborate with the Plant Manager and Sanitation Manager to ensure proper housekeeping and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and grounds.

Qualifications:

  • Computer Skills: Proficient in computer skills, analytical, equipment, and food-processing equipment.
  • Knowledge of Quality Control Processes: Knowledge of quality control processes related to the food-processing industry.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and SSOP: Knowledge of HACCP, SSOP, and SOP.
  • Knowledge of USDA and FDA Standards: Knowledge of USDA and FDA standards.
  • Self-Starter: Self-starter, motivator, goal-oriented, and a strategic thinker.
  • Good Organizational and Communication Skills: Good organizational and communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in meat processing or RTE environment a must.

Relocation and Compensation:

Relocation is provided and the company is targeting a base salary of $80,000-$90,000+.
