Eye Examination Specialist for U.S. Veterans

MRG Exams invites licensed Optometrists or Ophthalmologists to conduct comprehensive eye exams for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's SHA process.
This is a rewarding non-treating, non-determination role focused solely on assessments, providing an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who have served our country.
Key Responsibilities- Review medical records through a secure web portal.
- Perform thorough eye exams, including Visual Field Testing (VFT).
- Complete and submit evaluation forms via the web portal within 24 hours of the exam.
- Serve Those Who Served: Assist with healthcare assessments and contribute to the well-being of U.S. Veterans.
- Flexible Work Schedule: A part-time commitment of one day per week.
- Professional Focus: No treatment or determination responsibilities – your expertise focuses on assessments.
- Independent Contractor: Enjoy autonomy in a 1099 role.
The ideal candidate:
- Is a licensed Optometrist or Ophthalmologist.
- Is proficient in Visual Field Testing (VFT).
- Meets the VA's credentialing requirements.
- Has a passion for serving U.S. Veterans.
- Can analyze medical records and exam findings to create accurate, timely reports.
- Excels in written and oral communication.
- Is detail-oriented and capable of submitting forms within required timelines.
Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 per year, based on location and experience.
