As a Marketing Assistant - Advancement Support at Davenport University, you will provide critical support to the Advancement team with a focus on marketing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage social media and social content calendar to effectively engage with alumni and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies for the Alumni Mentor Network program.
  • Conduct alumni interviews and create compelling stories to showcase university achievements.
  • Write and publish articles in the DU Review magazine to highlight alumni success stories.
  • Create engaging content for social channels to promote university events and initiatives.
  • Take high-quality photos at events to capture university moments.
  • Participate in creative brainstorming sessions to develop innovative marketing ideas.
  • Report on social media analytics to inform marketing strategies.
  • Produce alumni and student videos to showcase university achievements.
  • Assist with special alumni events and functions as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive documents with care.
  • Conduct special projects, research, and assignments as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and demonstrate a commitment to the university's cultural values.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours as an undergraduate student or 3 credit hours as a graduate student.
  • Experience in an office setting is preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated motivational and problem-solving capabilities with a high degree of integrity, ethics, and dedication to the university's mission.
