About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Lead Housekeeper to join our team at ABM Industries. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning operations in our assigned building, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to team members, ensuring that cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Relay communication between team members, clients, customers, and management, ensuring that all parties are informed and up-to-date on cleaning schedules and tasks.
  • Report performance issues to the Supervisor, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance cleaning operations.
  • Assist with the training of new cleaning team members, ensuring that they are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their duties effectively.
  • Coordinate work assignments, ensuring that cleaning tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building, ensuring that all areas are clean and safe.
  • Manage security of keys and access cards for the property, ensuring that only authorized personnel have access to sensitive areas.
  • Report work orders for maintenance, ensuring that any issues are addressed promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that all cleaning equipment and supplies are stored safely and securely.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.
  • No experience required, with on-the-job training provided.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Customer Service Experience.
  • One (1) year of similar work experience.
