Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced On-Site Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Equus Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our community's common areas and facilities, ensuring they are kept in good condition and meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintenance and Repair: Supervise and perform routine maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other indoor and outdoor work on common-area facilities and property.
  2. Supervision: Train and oversee maintenance department staff, organize and manage their schedules, and provide feedback on their performance.
  3. Inventory Management: Order, pick up, and arrange for delivery of maintenance supplies and materials, and maintain proper levels of inventory.
  4. Emergency Response: Have and maintain emergency shut-off and service location charts for all common amenities, and respond to emergencies as needed.
  5. Communication: Report to the Board of Directors on a monthly basis, providing a summary of work requests, ongoing projects, and status of specific jobs.
Requirements
  1. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Experience: At least two years of maintenance experience required.
  3. Skills: Working knowledge of basic plumbing, lighting, and electrical systems, carpentry and building skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to identify issues and determine repairs needed.
Benefits
  1. Remuneration: Hourly position with a minimum of 40 hours per week, paid vacation and holidays, and standard reimbursement for vehicle mileage and wear and tear.
