Department Overview:
The Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation unit consists of 10 beds, maintaining a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1. We operate as a closed inpatient rehabilitation facility, supported by a dedicated Medical Director, Case Manager, and therapy team. Our interdisciplinary approach emphasizes functional training and education for both patients and their families, ensuring safe transitions home.
Patient Care:
We cater to a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from cerebrovascular accidents, amputations, brain injuries, cardiovascular or pulmonary conditions, hip or femur fractures, major trauma, neurological disorders, total joint replacements, and other medical challenges.

SOVAH Danville is a 250-bed hospital committed to enhancing community health as part of Lifepoint Health, a comprehensive healthcare network offering acute care, rehabilitation, and behavioral health services nationwide.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a current Virginia (or Multi-state) RN license and a nursing degree from an accredited institution (Bachelor's degree preferred). Additional requirements include:
- Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
- A minimum of two years of nursing experience in an inpatient hospital setting, with rehabilitation experience preferred.
- Leadership experience is advantageous.
