Job Title: Fabrication Supervisor

At Pegasus Steel Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Fabrication Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for overseeing the fabrication process and ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of welders and welder/fitters to achieve daily production goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and efficient job execution.
  • Monitor and manage welding performance to ensure on-budget and on-time delivery.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the fabrication department.
  • Review upcoming jobs with stakeholders to plan and execute effectively.
  • Utilize JT2GO and SAP 3D Viewer to reference job-specific requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform fit checks and weld inspections as required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to fabricate and layout according to certification standards.
  • Effective communication and instructional skills to evaluate welder/fitters' performance.
  • Certification for forklift and crane operations, with annual maintenance.
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T.
Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in an industrial or engineering-related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
