Account Manager, Entry

Job Summary:
Aon is seeking an Account Manager, Entry to join our team in Chicago. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Aon's relationships with assigned clients. This includes leading client service teams to identify and meet client needs, retaining and growing a profitable book of business, and promoting the value Aon delivers to clients through service, pricing, consultation, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Retain and grow Aon's business by cultivating relationships with senior-most client decision-makers and day-to-day client contacts.
- Drive the renewal process, assembling the appropriate team to develop and implement client-specific renewal strategies.
- Maintain ownership of the renewal process, drive renewal strategies, and oversee the preparation of client proposals.
- Facilitate critical relationships between clients, Aon, and insurers.
- Ensure client service teams understand client needs, service delivery methods, and the economic framework relevant to services delivered.
- Lead stewardship planning and delivery.
- Ensure overall account profitability with a value-based approach for the scope of service and costs associated with the Client Promise Plan.
- Arrange Aon compensation for services, whether fee or commission-based, accordingly.
- Develop Client Planning/Aon United Discovery preparation and lead/participate in Discovery processes, National Pricing Councils, Office Pricing Councils, and Portfolio Reviews.
- Educate clients in risk management, risk transfer, market issues, and relevant trends, including appropriate benchmarking data.
- Marshal appropriate Aon resources to support clients in unusual circumstances, such as large claims.
- Involves others across geographic, functional, and business unit boundaries to define interdependent responses to opportunities to grow the business.
- Manage input to and follow-up on invoicing and receivables processes for assigned clients, ensuring timely collections.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of Property & Casualty (P&C) or related work experience.
- Organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload with attention to detail.
- Critical thinking skills with the ability to clearly express thoughts and concepts at various levels.
- Excellent digital literacy, including working experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- An active Property & Casualty license.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $67,900 - $90,500 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus and production incentives in addition to base salary.
