Job Overview: Silver Leaf SWPPP is currently seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist to join our team. This role involves ensuring compliance with stormwater and erosion control regulations at construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Oversight: Monitor construction projects to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  2. Civil Construction Plan Analysis: Review and analyze civil construction plans and topographical maps to verify site compliance.
  3. BMP Issue Resolution: Identify BMP issues and coordinate with BMP installers to address items needed to bring the site back into compliance.
  4. Inspection Results Communication: Communicate inspection results with site contacts and project managers.
  5. Compliance Evaluation Report Completion: Complete Compliance Evaluation Reports via electronic database.

Requirements:
  • Motivated Self-Starter: We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Effective Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Time Management: Ability to maintain own schedule and meet deadlines is crucial.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving, time management, organizational, and computer skills are required.
  • Terrain Navigation: Capable of walking long distances on potentially difficult terrain.

Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position is $25-$28 per inspection. Additionally, we offer weekly pay, holiday pay, mileage compensation, paid training, and performance bonus opportunities.
