We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wealth Associate Team Lead to join our team at Stock Yards Bank & Trust. As a key member of our Wealth Management & Trust Department, you will be responsible for leading, training, and developing a team of Client Service Associates to provide exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Service and Support
    • Provide assistance and direction to Trust Wealth Advisors to build, solidify, and expand client relationships.
    • Respond to trust administration and investment questions, leveraging foundational knowledge of trust, investment, and/or estate planning concepts.
    • Exercise independent judgment regarding account matters, such as client requests or questions, disbursement requests, determining appropriate documents needed, and disbursing funds within limits of certain types of trusts.
  • Team Leadership and Development
    • Lead, train, and develop a team of Client Service Associates to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional service to clients.
    • Evaluate CSA's job functions and assist with training and development of CSA team members.
    • Address performance issues with CSA Manager if needed.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Effectively communicate with internal and external clients, verbally and in writing.
    • Draft client communications using knowledge and experience with trust, investment, and/or estate planning concepts.
    • Assist with communication between CSA Manager, Client Service Associates, Advisors, and Trust Operations.
  • Administrative and Organizational
    • Maintain accounts from set up to closing through proper internal processes and procedures, appropriately alerting Advisor of important changes and/or issues.
    • Assist Advisors with required client annual reviews and clearing exceptions on accounts.
    • Maintain service standard activities, COI activities, and other required calling activities.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Serve as client point of contact when Advisor is out of the office.
    • Provide office coverage and support in emergency situations.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    Requirements
    • Education and Experience
      • Bachelor's Degree
      • 5 years work experience in a Trust department or related field
    • Skills and Abilities
      • Proficient computer application skills in word processing and spreadsheets (Word, Excel)
      • Self-motivated and dependable
      • Ability to quickly learn trust system and new technology
      • Working knowledge of investment, fiduciary, and estate planning concepts
      • Independent decision-making ability within limits set by the Wealth Management & Trust Department
      • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with all levels of personnel and clients
      • Excellent grammar, spelling, and business writing skills
      • Excellent problem-solving skills
      • Ability to prioritize and organize heavy volumes of work
      • Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team
      • Ability to maintain confidentiality
      • Must be highly detail-oriented
