Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our Recovery Room team at UNC Health Care. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients in the recovery room, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to professional standards.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Assess patient needs and develop relationships with families to promote their ability to advocate for the patient and their own needs.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, and share your expertise with colleagues.
  • Contribute to a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment by adhering to policies and procedures, and promoting a culture of safety and quality.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • One year of nursing experience caring for acute and chronically ill patients, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
