Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide competent clinical nursing care to patients in a home health setting, utilizing the nursing process to coordinate and deliver patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in identifying and meeting learning needs of self and others.
  • Assess patient/family/caregivers' readiness to learn and developmental level.
  • Identify expected patient outcomes and seek guidance as needed.
  • Communicate relevant information to promote continuity of care.
  • Consult with appropriate resources regarding patients with complex care issues.
  • Develop goals to promote professional growth or minimize limitations.
  • Participate in development and achievement of unit goals and performance improvement activities.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience caring for acute and chronically ill patients or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
