Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Delicato Family Wines. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our winery equipment and production lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on winery equipment, including automated machines, servo-mechanical, electro-mechanical, or electro-pneumatic machinery.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions using PLC I/O indicators, HMIs, tachometers, or other testing devices.
  • Quality Control: Collaborate with production teams to ensure high-quality products and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and maintain inventory of spare parts and materials.
  • Training and Development: Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and new technologies.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; AA/AS degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance a plus. Completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Valid driver's license and related vocational, trade-school or ROP program completion preferred.
  • Knowledge and Skills: In-depth knowledge of winery equipment and production processes. Ability to read basic wiring diagrams and use multi-meters to read voltage, current, and resistance values.
Working Conditions
  • Manufacturing Plant Environment: Work in a fast-paced manufacturing plant environment with occasional travel.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry cases of wine and work in a physically demanding environment.
