Job Title: Software Engineer III

FUJIFILM Sonosite is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer III to join our team in Bothell, WA. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting embedded applications and drivers for our flagship products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and support embedded applications and drivers for Fujifilm Sonosite products
  • Participate in all stages of the development life cycle, from initial concept generation to final delivery and support
  • Proactively handle component and module obsolescence while strategically reducing COGS
  • Develop SW modules, perform failure analysis, and modify existing code bases to correct quality issues
  • Collaborate with other members of the Software team and functional teams to execute projects on schedule
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering or related degree from an ABET accredited institution
  • 5+ years combined experience in SW development
  • 5+ years programming experience with C++ (C# experience also desired)
  • Demonstrated expertise with object-oriented design
  • Experience in leading a software project or a feature, from requirements and design, implementation to full verification
  • Significant experience with embedded operating systems, including Windows embedded and Microsoft software development tools (Visual Studio)
