Job Title: Process Engineer

Location: Lima, OH

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team at DBSI Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical plant design, process design, and plant engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements
  • Develop and maintain process safety management systems
  • Specify and select process plant equipment
  • Conduct mass and energy balance calculations and hydraulic calculations

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering (BE / B. Tech / BS / MS)
  • 7-10 years of experience in process engineering and plant design
  • Strong knowledge of chemical engineering fundamentals, including heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and mass transfer
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and AutoCAD
  • Familiarity with hydraulic calculation software, such as AFT Fathom and AFT Arrow

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in surfactant making plant design
  • Knowledge of powder handling equipment sizing and design
  • Experience in sanitary piping and process systems
