Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Supervisor to join our team at Sodus Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. As a RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating the administration and clinical activities of the nursing department on a designated shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Clinical Expertise: Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff, ensuring that residents receive high-quality care.
  • Shift Coordination: Coordinate the activities of the nursing department on a designated shift, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Resident Care: Ensure that new admissions are completed thoroughly, and all pertinent assessments are completed in a timely manner.
  • Staff Development: Delegate responsibilities to staff, provide training and support to ensure that they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Participate in inspections and ensure that the nursing department is in compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure that residents receive seamless care.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduation from an accredited program in Nursing.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-year Long Term Care RN supervision experience, strong leadership and excellent clinical skills required.
  • Licensure and Certification: Current, unencumbered RN license in NY state. Current CPR and IV certifications.
