Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cust Svcs Rep B to join our team at Dayton Superior. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate information to internal and external customers, representing DSC externally and being the customer advocate internally.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers. You will also possess a strong understanding of logistical capabilities, including LTL & flatbed loading, timing, and distribution capabilities.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to customers. You will receive, price, and return requests for quotations within defined criteria, perform routine follow-up to determine success or failure, track competitive market information (backlog, pricing, competitor backlog), and enter and/or review all orders entered.

You will obtain necessary information from customers to enter an order, make any and all necessary changes and updates to the order, and enter won quotations in tracking system in order to provide vision to backlog and forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, price, and return requests for quotations within defined criteria

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service or sales
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong understanding of logistical capabilities, including LTL & flatbed loading, timing, and distribution capabilities
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
