The ideal candidate will possess board certification or eligibility, showcasing a proven track record of clinical success and academic contributions. This role is designed for those who aspire to achieve an academic position at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level with the esteemed University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
We encourage candidates currently completing their fellowship to consider this opportunity. The successful applicant will be instrumental in establishing a fulfilling clinical practice focused on both malignant and benign breast conditions. Notably, there is no requirement for general surgery call, and breast oncology call is shared among the existing team of four surgeons.
The selected candidate will be expected to engage in patient-centered multidisciplinary oncology care, which includes participation in quality management initiatives, scholarly activities, and clinical research programs. Our program is bolstered by a dedicated breast imaging center and holds accreditation from both the NAPBC and the Commission on Cancer.
