We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Breast Radiologist Liaison to join our team at HALO Precision Diagnostics. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our Director of Breast Imaging and the team of breast radiologists, ensuring seamless communication with referring providers and patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Breast Imaging in coordinating daily activities, managing schedules, and ensuring efficient workflow within the breast imaging department.
- Coordinate scheduling of breast imaging procedures, consultations, and follow-up appointments, prioritizing urgent cases and accommodating patient needs as necessary.
- Assist in managing and organizing pathology reports related to breast imaging procedures, coordinating with pathologists and ensuring timely communication of results to radiologists and referring physicians.
- Provide exceptional patient care, serving as a point of contact for patients undergoing breast imaging procedures and addressing their concerns and questions.
- Act as a direct point of contact for breast radiologists regarding scheduling issues, patient concerns, or technical challenges, facilitating communication between radiologists and other departmental staff as needed.
- Track and manage all biopsy recommendations in strict adherence to MQSA regulations, ensuring timely follow-up and documentation of biopsy results to maintain compliance and optimize patient care.
- Ensure quick turnaround of imaging reports by coordinating with radiologists and medical staff to prioritize urgent cases, communicating with radiologists for timely completion, and handling escalated cases.
Requirements:
- Graduation from high school or equivalent is required.
- 2 years of experience in a breast imaging department is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills, technical skills, and organizational and multitasking abilities are essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
