Cardiac Anesthetist Opportunity at Emory University Hospital

We are seeking highly skilled Cardiac Anesthetists to join our team at Emory University Hospital. As a Cardiac Anesthetist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our academic healthcare system.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer general and regional anesthesia to surgical and non-surgical procedure patients
  • Interpret and record patient physiological and pharmacological status
  • Establish multi-parameter monitoring of patients prior to, during, and after anesthesia
  • Manage pre- and post-anesthetic care, including ventilator management and other respiratory care parameters
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) Master's Degree program
  • Licensed or eligible to practice in the State of Georgia
  • Certified by National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) or National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants (NCCAA)
  • Must maintain biannual certification through the submission of Continuing Medical Education credits (CMEs)
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range: $225,000 - $295,000 per year (for Full Time, 1.0FTE)
  • Sign-on bonus: $30,000 (for Full Time, 1.0FTE) or prorated based on FTE, with a 2-year commitment
  • Eligible for extra duty pay, overnight shift allowance, CME time-off & allowances, Student Loan Repayment program
  • 37 days of PTO (for Full Time 1.0FTE), Benefits coverage, including PTO accrual, will begin from first day of employment
