About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Worldwide Specialist to join our Amazon Q team. As a key member of our Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO), you will play a critical role in driving revenue, adoption, and growth from large and fast-growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including public sector.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead the global Go-To-Market (GTM) plan for Amazon Q, orchestrating sales motions for sales, marketing, partner, product, training, and professional services teams to accelerate adoption of your aligned technology domain.
  • Leverage your deep domain expertise to create best-in-class field enablement and sales strategy.
  • Support field teams in solution building for high-priority customers.
  • Bring market signals back to product teams to drive innovation on AWS product roadmaps.
  • Own reporting and planning cadences to AWS executives on GTM plan execution.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and represent AWS at industry events, conferences, symposiums, etc.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 7+ years of relevant Go-to-market, Technical Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience.
  • 5+ years of Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, or SaaS experience.
  • BA/BS degree required.

Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with experience communicating to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Established track record of credibility as a technology advisor with customer executives and Line of Business Leaders.
  • Experience and success in negotiating complex deals with customers and partners.
  • Experience in a heavily matrixed sales environment, including developing, implementing, managing, and executing go-to-market growth initiatives and sales motions.
  • Deep understanding of cloud technologies, including public and hybrid cloud platforms.
  • Technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus.
