Overview

At LHH Recruitment Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled Document Management Specialist to join our team. In this critical role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the seamless management of incoming mail and documents. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in maintaining the highest level of accuracy and efficiency in our document processing operations.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $20.00 to $23.00 per hour, based on experience. This compensation package reflects our commitment to attracting top talent and rewarding excellence in performance.

Job Description

As a Document Management Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Reviewing initial submissions of documents provided in email format and batch-processing them for efficient management.
  • Inspecting scanned images of incoming mail, accurately labeling and titling documents according to company standards.
  • Investigating documents without claim numbers, forwarding new claims to the first report team, and documents without identifiable information to the customer care team or internal resources for further review.
  • Performing quality assurance reviews of scanned images, confirming valid claim numbers, rejecting or returning documents that do not meet company standards, and notifying senders of invalid documents.
  • Indexing and assigning scanned images to the correct claim number, investigating within the claims management software to match images to claim numbers, reviewing names, etc.
  • Inputting image detail summaries into the claims management system, including dates of service and document types.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this position, you should possess the following qualifications:
  • A minimum six months of related experience or training.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, write simple correspondence, clearly and effectively present information to management and public groups.
  • Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form, deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Knowledge of office operations, workflow analysis, current technologies in telecommunications, data entry, and file management.
