The Automotive Body Repair Specialist at Whaling City Auto Group plays a crucial role in executing precise and effective repairs on vehicle body damages.

The Automotive Body Repair Specialist will be a vital member of our workforce, dedicated to guaranteeing that every vehicle exiting our facility adheres to the utmost quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute vehicle body repairs, including frame alignment, dent extraction, and panel substitution.
  • Accurately evaluate and document vehicle damages.
  • Coordinate with the body shop supervisor to provide repair updates and address any issues.
  • Employ various tools and machinery for repairs, such as pneumatic sanders, electric sanders, paint application equipment, and polishers.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Follow manufacturer repair guidelines and industry standards.
  • Stay informed on the latest methods and technologies in vehicle body repair.
  • Assist with the general maintenance and organization of the body shop as required.
  • Collaborate with fellow technicians and staff to meet project deadlines and deliver outstanding service.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in vehicle body repair is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using various tools and equipment necessary for repairs.
  • Technical understanding of vehicle body repair methods and best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Physical capability to stand, bend, and lift weights up to 50 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to comply with safety protocols and guidelines.
