We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at FPI Management. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of maintenance personnel, overseeing maintenance and capital improvement needs, and ensuring the overall quality and safety of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of maintenance personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of tasks and projects.
  • Oversee maintenance and capital improvement needs, developing and implementing plans to ensure the timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties and common areas to identify maintenance needs and develop plans to address them.
  • Coordinate and complete maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance program to ensure the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of properties.
  • Serve as a point of contact for residents and other stakeholders, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other members of the property management team to ensure that all aspects of property management are being met.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar leadership role, preferably within residential property management.
  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate required; industry certification or designation preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required; may require a valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to wear a respirator and be medically fit for duty.
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and property management-related software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in hotel maintenance, facilities maintenance, or construction.
  • Industry certification or designation (CAMT, NAHMS, NAHMT).
  • Proficient in Google Drive, Google Mail, and internet use.
