Solar Power System Specialist

Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Senior Solar Electrical Engineer to join our team in the Renewable Energy (Solar) industry, responsible for leading electrical design and compliance efforts.
This is a remote opportunity, offering flexibility and convenience for candidates in EST or CST time zones.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead external engineering resources and maintain BRP electrical design standards to ensure consistency and quality.
- Evaluate project compliance with owner and regulatory requirements, identifying potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Serve as subject matter expert in PV Electrical Engineering, guiding electrical design and system implementation.
- Review and compile project-specific Scope of Work documents for PV Electrical Engineering, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Issue Requests for Proposals to third-party engineering design consultants, facilitating collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Guide discipline-specific engineering discussions and decisions, fostering effective communication among team members.
- 4-6+ years of experience in PV Electrical Engineering, with a strong focus on electrical design and system implementation.
- 2+ years of leadership experience, including engineering management and team supervision.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software tools.
- In-depth knowledge of AC and DC electrical principles, ensuring a deep understanding of electrical systems.
- PVcase, WinIGS, and ETAP design software proficiency, enabling efficient electrical system design and analysis.
- A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
