Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise to customers and sales teams, ensuring seamless product knowledge and industry insights during customer engagements.
  • Solution Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement complex IoT solutions, meeting functional and business requirements.
  • Customer Engagement: Drive specification inclusion and promotion of functional and system requirements for automotive telematics and telemetry solutions, through on-site meetings, workshops, and web-based conferences with Automotive OEMs.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement processes to ensure development meets functional and business requirements, ensuring high-quality solutions.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate OEM expectations, issues, and requirements to internal Aeris organizations, including product management, technical account management, engineering, and operations.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide general technical and engineering expertise in support of Aeris sales efforts targeting automotive OEMs, responding to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
  • Collaboration: Participate in regular technical status meetings, governance meetings, and provide status information and identified risks to the management team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of related work experience in technical sales and supporting high-end consultative technical solutions in the automotive industry.
  • 5+ years of experience gathering customer automotive engineering and technical requirements for internal software teams for development.
  • 5+ years of experience working in software development disciplines, including Agile and SDLC, using tools such as Atlassian's Confluence and Jira.
  • 3+ years of experience using graphical tools such as Visio, Gliffy, or SysML to illustrate business processes and system architecture.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical account management in a professional services organization.
  • 2+ years of experience in C++, Java, or Python.
