Senior Headache Specialist Neurologist Position in Washington DC VA Medical Center

We are seeking a skilled Senior Headache Specialist Neurologist to join our dynamic team at the Washington DC VA Medical Center.

Our ideal candidate will have experience providing direct patient care for outpatients and inpatients with neurological problems, including headache treatment using Botulinum toxin.

The successful applicant will work independently, caring for outpatients in a dedicated headache clinic, and participate in clinical research and other academic activities as assigned.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Taking turns covering the inpatient neurology ward and neurology consult service, supervising residents/students and taking call responsibilities
  • Providing comprehensive care for patients with actual or presumed neurological problems
  • Participating in telehealth with Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs)

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $400,000 - $600,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
