Job Title: Registered Nurse - GI Procedures SpecialistJob Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a GI Procedures Specialist. This role will involve preparing patients for procedures, assisting physicians during procedures, and providing quality care to patients in recovery. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work collaboratively with the healthcare team, and demonstrate knowledge of GI procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepares patients for procedures by reviewing medical records, verifying patient information, and coordinating with the surgical/procedure team.
  • Assists physicians during procedures by setting up equipment, handling instruments, and maintaining aseptic techniques.
  • Provides quality care to patients in recovery by monitoring vital signs, administering medication, and documenting patient progress.
  • Maintains accurate and detailed documentation of patient information, including medical records and other relevant documents.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current state license to practice as a registered nurse.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and ACLS certification.
  • At least one year of experience as a registered nurse in a related field.
Estimated Salary Range:

$65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
