Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Partner to join our team at Arkansas Heart Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clinical team members in providing patient care and support, under the direction of a registered nurse.
  • Perform a variety of duties, including administering patient care, ensuring a safe and comforting environment, and responding to patient needs in a timely manner.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as meals, bathing, and hygiene needs.
  • Perform range of motion exercises and progressive ambulation as directed by the RN.
  • Transport patients as needed and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Perform Point of Care procedures, including vital signs, blood glucose monitoring, and ostomy care.
  • Collect specimens, such as urine, stool, or sputum, and obtain weight and basic patient information for new admissions.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate required.
  • Licensure/Certification: None required. CNA, MA, and/or paramedic certification preferred. BLS certification required within the first 30 days of employment.
  • Experience: With CNA, MA, and/or paramedic certification, no experience required. Without CNA, MA, or paramedic certification, minimum of one year patient care experience in a nursing home or hospital (acute care setting preferred) or one year nursing school required.
