Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at International Paper. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance work, troubleshooting and repairing electrical circuits, and installing conduit and wire.
Key Responsibilities- Assist journeyman-level IEs in routine maintenance work and perform duties independently
- Electrical circuit troubleshooting and repair
- Conduit and wire installation
- Lighting repair
- PLC troubleshooting and repair
- Drive troubleshooting and repair
- Instrumentation and control valve calibration
- Troubleshooting and repair
- HVAC work
- Must be currently 18 years of age or older
- Eligible for employment in the U.S.
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
- Basic computer skills
- Able to function in a team environment
- One of the following: one year experience in any of the following Maintenance Skill Areas: INSTRUMENTATION, ELECTRICAL, OR HVAC, or one year vocational/technical education in the Instrumentation Electrical Disciplines: INSTRUMENTATION, ELECTRICAL, OR HVAC
- Associate degree in any of the IP Core Maintenance skills or related disciplines (Instrumentation or Electrical)
- Relevant work experience in an industrial environment
- Strong math/physics understanding
- Instrumentation background on the Instrumentation Electrical side
