About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Manager - Operations to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and service delivery across our customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement site visit strategies to drive customer retention and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with branches to ensure successful grand openings and onboarding of new customers
  • Ensure compliance with local and national account standards, including review of corporate compliance reporting
  • Develop and implement action plans to improve sales and profitability, including incremental sales planning and performance tracking
  • Coordinate efforts to improve customer retention and experience at the point of sale
  • Build retail pricing opportunities and encourage repeat sales, while introducing new products to increase revenue
  • Drive compliance to merchandising standards and assess performance by location through audit reports
  • Perform the job functions of the Route Driver position, including driving a company vehicle over an established route to deliver products and services
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3 years of driving experience required, with a valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license and good driving record
  • Preferred 1-2 years of experience in a customer service position, or a minimum of 1 year of related experience
  • Route management, retail, and merchandising experience is preferred
  • Ability to operate or willingness to learn material handling equipment, such as box trucks and handcarts
  • Food and beverage experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Must be able to travel to client sites and lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis
